FAQ – Prospect Management

Here are the frequently asked questions for the topic:

1) How can you add a new prospect?

Answer: This can be done from the top of the ‘Prospect Management’ page. Click on the green box labelled ‘Add Prospect’, beneath the title of the page. This leads to a series of windows where details of the prospect need to be filled out. After moving from one window to another by clicking ‘Next’, eventually clicking ‘Yes, Submit’ finishes the process.

2) How can I send a screening request to a prospect?

Answer: From the ‘Prospect Management’ page, click on the ‘New Prospects’ tab, and go to any prospects’ detail page (from the rightmost column). From the prospect details page, click on ‘Action’ from the right side of the page and click on the ‘Send Screening Request’ button. For more information on how the screening process works, go here.

3) Can a lease be created from the prospect management page?

Answer: Yes, it is possible to do this. Just go to the details page from the ‘Prospect Management’ page, and look for ‘Action’ from the right side of the page. There is an option to start the lease process from there.

4) How can you schedule a showing with a prospect?

Answer: From the prospect details page, scroll down till you reach the bottom of the page. Under the ‘Activity’ section, you can find a green box labelled ‘Schedule A Showing”. After that, you just need to select a date and save it on the Mi Property Portal calendar.
