The payment process from the tenant portal is fairly simple. Tenants have the choice of paying invoices one-by-one, or multiple invoices at once.
1. From the navigation panel, click on ‘Profile & Invoices’, or on the credit card icon at the top of the page.
2. This leads us to the payment page. From here, there are two options tenants can click in order to pay multiple invoices at once.
a) Click on ‘Pay Full Amount’ in the top right corner.
This opens up a pop-up, which asks for the bank details (EFT details may be automatically filled out if already on the system). More importantly, however, you can see that you can adjust the balance you can pay, so the tenant can choose how much he/she is paying. This helps them pay multiple invoices at once but also allows them to not pay the entire amount.
b) The tenant can click on ‘Pay Overdue Amount’, which is just beneath the previous option.
This brings up the previous method of payment as well, where you can adjust the amount payable if you pay using a bank account (EFT).
The only problem with both methods is that you have to pay the entire amount if you pay using a credit card. You cannot adjust the final amount using that way of payment. Mi Property Portal is currently working on fixing that.
