How To Lock Or Unlock Portal Access?

105 views 0 December 5, 2022 Updated on November 28, 2023 mippsupportadmin

A portal is a convenient way for property managers and tenants to communicate effectively. Having access to a portal allows tenants to change their personal details, such as their banking information and allow him/her to oversee the process. However, you may decide to turn off access to the tenant for various reasons, or you may think of reinstating access to accelerate communication and convenience. The good news is that you can do this all from the portal!

1) Login to your admin portal, and click on the “Tenant” tab under the Tenant Management section.

2) This brings up a different page where you can select the tenant you want to deal with from the “All Active Tenants” section. From the rightmost side (under Action), you can click on ‘View Details

After this, you come to the tenant details page. To the right of the center, look for ‘Summary’; Next to this, is ‘Tenant Portal’. Here you can either see a green unlocked sign or an orange locked sign. (If a tenant is not invited, you see an ‘X’ sign). This is where you can turn on tenant portal access.

To turn on portal access:

>Click on the orange locked sign.

> A pop-up will come up asking for confirmation to enable portal access. Click on ‘Yes, Submit’.

> You have successfully unlocked portal access for the tenant.

What would you do, however, if you need to invite someone new to access the portal?
