When dealing with service requests and work orders, communication is vital for property managers, landlords, and vendors. In Mi Property Portal, we made sure that you can easily communicate the work that needs to be done with these easy and simple steps.
Follow the steps below to know how to send emails or SMS to vendors when assigning work orders.:
- Go to the Tenant Management page > Work Order (if only already created a Service Request, if not please create a Service Request first)
- Click More Action > New Work Order.
- Choose the Property and Service Request > ‘Submit.’
- Select a Vendor (the field will be automatically filled if the vendor’s information is complete)
- Tick the box, Send an email to the vendor (applicable only when a valid email is provided)
- Or Send SMS to the vendor (applicable only when a valid phone number is provided)
- Click ‘ Submit’
