1. So when managing properties in the system, you have the option to either deactivate or delete a property.
2. Deactivating a property is a temporary action, that marks the property as inactive. This means: The property will no longer be available for most features, such as leases and invoices

3. Deleting a property is a permanent action, that removes all data associated with it. This includes:All financial transactions, invoices, and bills

4. From the dashboard, navigate to the Property Management dropdown on the left navigation menu, then select Properties

5. Once you’re on the Properties tab, you can sort properties by name or address using the options on the top left corner

6. So first, click on the dropdown beside a property to open up the menu, and from there select delete

7. When deleting a property, keep in mind that all associated data will be permanently removed, and this action cannot be undone.

8. A confirmation pop-up will appear. To proceed, tick the “Confirm Delete” checkbox and then click on the “Yes, Submit” button

9. To deactivate a property, first, navigate to the Properties page

10. On the Property Details page, click on the More Actions dropdown menu

11. The Deactivate Property – Confirmation pop-up will appear. Click on the Yes, Submit button
