How to activate or deactivate a unit?

16 views 0 December 5, 2022 Updated on December 8, 2022 mippsupportadmin

If a unit is set to ACTIVE, this means the unit is available for rent. You will be given a link to advertise as a rental listing in signage and on social media.

Follow the steps below to activate or deactivate a unit:

  • Go to Property Management > Properties
  • Choose the Property > Drop-down > Manage Units
  • On the Property Units page, you can see an Active column, the Active units show ACTIVE (green) and the Inactive unit shows INACTIVE (red)
  • To change the status of each unit, click Edit
  • Tick the “Active” box
  • Once done, click ‘Update’
  • If it’s set to Active, the Unit will show “This unit is currently available for rent.”
  • You can also edit the status of each unit on the Unit details page; from the Property Unit details page, click the ‘Details icon’ (beside Edit)
  • Click ‘Edit’
  • Tick the “Active” box
  •  Once done, click ‘Update’
