Follow the steps below to manually record an EFT or Online payment:
- Go to Tenant Management > Tenant
- In the Finance section > Payment Due > click the Status (Overdue)
- Click Receive Payment > make sure to select Online Payment (EFT)
- If the tenant adds their bank account to the tenant portal, the field will be automatically filled
- If there are no bank details provided in this section, you would have to manually fill the fields to submit payments. A note will also state that ‘No existing account info found for the tenant. You can provide the new account info below.’
- Provide the Account Holder Name, Institution Number, Transit Number (branch number), Account Number, Amount Due
- Make sure to tick the boxes
- ‘I accept and agree to the online payment terms and conditions’ and
- ‘I acknowledge that additional charges may occur if the payment fails due to invalid bank information (i.e. invalid account holder name or invalid transit number or invalid account number, etc.) or for a non-sufficient fund (NSF)’
NOTE: MAKE SURE THE ACCOUNT INFORMATION IS VALID AND ACCURATE. ADDITIONAL CHARGES MAY APPLY WHEN A PAYMENT FAILS DUE TO AN INVALID ACCOUNT INFORMATION
- Once done, click ‘Submit’
