1. Enter the Property Name in the Property Column (Required)
2. Ensure the Property Name matches exactly with the name listed in the Property File
3. Enter the Unit Number in the UnitNumber column (Required)
4. Ensure the Unit Number exists in the Unit File
5. Enter the Tenant First Name in the FirstName column (Required)
6. Enter the Tenant Last Name in the LastName column (Required)
7. Enter the Tenant Email in the Email column (Optional)
8. Enter the Phone Number in the Phone column (Optional). If provided, it must be 10 digits
9. Enter the Tenant Date of Birth in the DOB column (Optional)
10. Enter the Lease Start Date in the LeaseStartDate column (Required)
11. The Lease Start Date will be used as the Rent Due Date (usually the 1st of the month). If the tenant moves in early, a partial rental charge can be created
12. Use the date format: MM/DD/YYYY (e.g., 05/21/2025)
13. If the Lease End Date is not provided, the system will set the lease as month-to-month
14. Enter the Last Rent Increase Date. This date will help ensure the rent increase notification is sent on time
15. Enter the First Rental Invoice Date. Our system will generate automated rental invoices starting from this date
16. The First Rental Invoice Date is usually the day the entry is made in the system. However, a date from the past 12 months can be chosen; in that case, the system will generate rental invoices starting from that month
17. The date format is MM/DD/YYYY (e.g., 05/21/2025)
18. Enter the Rent Amount the tenant is paying in the Rent column (Required)
19. If available, enter the Security Deposit or Last Month’s Rent amount in the respective field
20. If a Deposit Amount is provided, the Holder of the Deposit must also be specified
21. Enter the Deposit Holder (either Property Manager or Owner) in the DepositHeldBy field
22. Enter the Key and Pet Deposit amounts, similar to the Security Deposit, in the respective fields
23. Enter the NSF Fee charged for failed cheque payments in the respective field
24. If there are additional tenants on the lease, enter their information in the following columns. Up to 5 additional tenants can be added
