  • Tenant Details Enhanced with View Mail Option
    Previous:In Tenant Management › Tenant › Tenant Details, when a form or mail was sent to a tenant, there was no quick way to view the mail directly from the tenant's activity summary. Users had to navigate manually to check the details.
    Now:A small "View Mail" button has been added to the Tenant Activity Summary. With a single click, users can easily open and review the mail, making tenant communication tracking faster and more convenient.

Tenant Management › Tenant › Bulk Action Dropdown › Bulk Email

  • Bulk Email – Redesigned with New Selection Options
    What's New:
    • Modern design – Enhanced visual layout and beautification.
    • New dropdown menu: Bulk Rent Receipt added.

    Previous:On the Prospective Details page, under the Guarantor Info section, there was only a "Send Application" button available to send the guarantor their application. No option existed to directly request a signature.
    Now:A new "Request Signature" button has been added. Property managers can now send a signature request directly to the guarantor, streamlining the process and reducing extra steps.

  • Rental Application Link in Unit Type Details
    Previous:On the Property Unit Type Details page, there was no dedicated section for sharing rental application links. Users had to manually manage and distribute links, which was less efficient.
    Now:
    A new "Rental Application Link" section has been added:
    • Includes a Copy to Clipboard button to quickly copy and share the link.
    • Added an Email button to send the rental application link directly to prospects with ease.
    This enhancement streamlines the process of sharing rental applications, saving time and improving prospect engagement.

Prospective Tenant › List Page / Prospective Tenant Details Page › Edit

  • Prospective Tenant Status Change Fix
    Previous:When attempting to change the status of a prospective tenant, the update would not hold. Any changes made would automatically reverse back to the original status, preventing proper tracking of tenant progress.
    Now:The issue has been fixed. Status changes for prospective tenants now save correctly, allowing property managers to update and maintain accurate tenant records without reversal errors.

Rentalportal.ca › Submit Application

  • Rent Roll Report – PDF Layout & Design Improvements
    Previous:The Rent Roll Report PDF layout was broken, with many columns misaligned and appearing on separate lines. This made the report difficult to read and less professional in presentation.
    Now:The PDF design has been improved. Columns are now properly aligned, and key fields are displayed neatly. The report looks cleaner, more organized, and easier to interpret.
  • Application Resubmission After Deletion
    Previous:When an enquiry was submitted and an application was created, the same email address could not be used to submit another application. This restriction prevented resubmission even if the original application had been deleted.
    Now:The logic has been updated. After an enquiry is submitted, the same email address can now be used to submit an application again — but only for the second submission following a deletion. This ensures flexibility while maintaining proper validation.
  • Prospect Application – Consent & Privacy Check Fix
    Previous:During prospect application submission, once the consent and privacy checks were verified, the Submit button became enabled. However, the button did not get disabled afterward, causing inconsistent behavior in the submission process.
    Now:The issue has been fixed. The Submit button now properly enables only when consent and privacy checks are verified, and disables as expected to ensure accurate validation and smoother application submission.
  • Email & Listing ID Validation – GET API Endpoint
    Previous:When submitting an application, if the same email address was used again for the same listing ID, the system allowed the applicant to fill out all data before throwing an error at the end. This caused wasted effort and confusion.
    Now:
    The validation logic has been improved. The system now checks upfront:
    • If the same email has already been used for the same listing ID, it immediately displays a message before the applicant proceeds.
    • This saves time and prevents duplicate submissions, ensuring a smoother application process.

  • Lease Email Error for Alberta Leases Fixed
    Previous:After collecting signatures, property managers encountered an error when attempting to send lease emails with attachments. This issue specifically affected Alberta leases, preventing successful email delivery.
    Now:The bug has been resolved. Lease emails with attachments can now be sent without errors after signatures are collected, including for Alberta leases.

  • Private Documents Visibility After Upload
    Previous:After uploading files from View Invoice, View Bill, or Work Order, private documents were not visible in the system. This caused confusion and limited access to uploaded records.
    Now:The issue has been fixed. Uploaded files are now properly visible in the system when added from View Invoice, View Bill, or Work Order, ensuring smooth access and document tracking.

All Tasks › View Tasks (Subject: Tasks for Service Request)

  • Work Order Creation from Task – Data Population Fix
    Previous:When creating a work order from a task, key information was not populating correctly. The Service Request Number field remained empty, and tenant details (name and phone number) were not displayed even if there was an active tenant in the unit. Additionally, the work order title did not reflect the related task.
    Now:
    The logic has been corrected:
    • The Service Request Number now automatically populates in the designated field.
    • If there is an active tenant in the unit, the tenant's name and phone number are displayed in the work order.
    • The work order title is automatically set as: "Work Order for <Task Title>", ensuring clear linkage between tasks and work orders.

Prospective Tenants › Add New Prospect

  • Prospect Phone Number Edit & Validation in Quick Prospect Create
    Previous:During quick prospect creation, phone numbers were not properly validated. If a number was entered incorrectly, the system did not flag the error, and editing the phone number after creating the prospect was not possible.
    Now:A 10-digit validation has been added for quick prospect creation, ensuring accuracy at the time of entry. Additionally, phone numbers can now be edited after the prospect has been created, providing greater flexibility and data accuracy.

Tenant Management › Tenant › Details View

  • Sort Tenant Documents by Updated Date
    Previous:When admins uploaded documents from the tenant details page under the document section, the files were displayed in a serial or sequential order, making it harder to quickly locate the most recent updates.
    Now:Uploaded documents in the tenant details page are now sorted by updated date, allowing admins to easily access the latest files first and improving overall document management efficiency.
  • Finance Section Moved Under Summary in Tenant Details
    Previous:In the tenant details page, the Summary section was followed directly by the Special Note section. Financial information was located further down the page, requiring extra navigation to view payment or financial options.
    Now:The Finance section has been repositioned to appear immediately after the Summary section in the tenant details page. This makes it more convenient for admins to quickly access payment and other financial details without scrolling.

Task Management › All Tasks › Details View

  • Tenant Information Added to Task Details
    Previous:On the task details page (right side of the screen), only property information, owner invoice details, and related service request/work order information were displayed. Tenant information was not available.
    Now:A new tenant information section has been added under the property details area in the task details page. This section displays the tenant's name, email, and phone number, giving admins a more complete view directly within the task.

Reports › Financial › Aged Receivables (New)

  • Aged Receivable Report Updates
    Previous:
    The Aged Receivable Report had several limitations:
    • Property or unit addresses were missing from the overview, with no option to display them.
    • The report lacked a detailed aging breakdown.
    • There was no ability to customize visible columns.
    • Report customization settings did not persist after changes.
    Now:
    The Aged Receivable Report has been enhanced to address these issues:
    • Property and unit addresses are now visible in the overview.
    • A detailed aging breakdown has been added.

Report › Owner › Owner Statement (Period Range)

  • Owner Email Field in Statement (Period Range) Report
    Previous:The owner email field did not auto-populate when emailing the report.
    Now:The owner email field now automatically populates with the selected owner's email address.

Property Management › Inspection

  • Inspection PDF Email Error Fixed
    Previous:Emailing an inspection PDF to admin or team members returned an error.
    Now:Users can now successfully send inspection PDFs via email without errors.
  • Inspection Photo Upload Limitations
    Previous:Only a single photo could be uploaded during an inspection.
    Now:Users can now upload up to three photos during an inspection.
  • Admin Question-to-Answer Mapping Bug Fixed
    Previous:A bug prevented admins from mapping questions to answers, causing workflow interruptions.

    Previous:
    • The PDF layout did not match the online version.

Inspection Photo Upload Limitations

Previous:
The system only allowed users to upload a single photo during an inspection, limiting the ability to provide complete visual documentation.

Now:
The upload functionality has been enhanced. Users can now upload up to three photos during an inspection, offering a more detailed and comprehensive record.

Admin Question-to-Answer Mapping Bug Fixed

Previous:
Admins encountered a bug when attempting to map questions to answers, which prevented smooth configuration and caused workflow interruptions.

Now:
The issue has been resolved. Customers can now easily map questions to answers without errors, ensuring a seamless and reliable setup process.

Template Deletion Bug Fixed 

Previous:
In some cases, templates could not be deleted, causing inconvenience for admins who needed to remove outdated or unused templates.

Now:
The issue has been resolved. Templates can now be successfully deleted without errors, ensuring smoother template management.

Syncfusion Uploader Control – Phone/Tablet File Upload Feature

Previous:
During property inspections, users could only upload pictures in the traditional way, which felt less efficient. The system lacked support for direct file uploads from phone or tablet devices, making documentation slower and less user‑friendly.

Now:
The Syncfusion Uploader Control has been upgraded to include phone and tablet file upload support. This enhancement allows users to capture and upload multiple pictures directly within each inspection section, streamlining the inspection process, improving accuracy, and saving time.

PDF Beautification – Condition Inspection Report

Previous:

  • The PDF printout of the Condition Inspection Report did not match the online version.
  • The Condition Code section was elongated and took up excessive space.
  • The Code column was too wide.
  • The Comment column was too narrow, causing truncation and limiting readability.

Now:

  • The PDF layout has been improved to align with the online version.
  • The Condition Code section is now compact and neatly formatted.
  • The Code column has been narrowed to appropriate spacing.

The Comment column has been widened, providing ample space for detailed notes.

Move-In / Move-Out Template Mapping Fix

Previous:
In the move-in/move-out inspection process, default answers set during move-in (e.g., “Good”) were incorrectly appearing in the move-out section as well. This created confusion for tenants, as it looked like they were signing off on both move-in and move-out conditions at the same time. Additionally, users experienced errors when attempting to delete incorrect inspection documents.

Now:

The logic has been corrected:

  • Move-In and Move-Out sections are now properly separated. Default answers set during move-in no longer carry over to the move-out section.
  • At move-out, admins can update the move-out date and condition fields, and tenants can sign the same document again at that time.
  • The issue with deleting incorrect inspection documents has been fixed, allowing admins to remove unwanted inspection records without errors.
Move-In / Move-Out Comment Visibility Fix

Previous:
In the move-in/move-out inspection process, comments entered during inspections were not appearing in the final inspection documents. This limited clarity and made it difficult to capture detailed notes alongside condition codes.

Now:
The issue has been resolved. Comments added during move-in or move-out inspections are now properly displayed in the inspection documents, ensuring complete and accurate records for property managers and tenants.

In the tenant list view, the Excel export option provided tenant data such as first name, last name, email, phone, address, city, postal code, province, unit, lease, and rent.

Now:
The Excel export file now contains an additional column with more tenant information, giving users a more complete dataset directly from the tenant list view.

Other Occupant List Available in Tenant List

Previous:
When accessing the tenant list page from the Tenant Management dropdown menu, users could only view basic line‑item information such as tenant name, property, unit, lease, and portal access.

Now:
